As we have not used the slow motion mode on the cameras before we thought it would be very much appropriate if we were to do some test shots using this mode before we film so that we can compare the results to the ones where we edit the speed of the clip on the editing software, Final Cut Pro.
From this video we created it is very clear that the slow motion mode on the cameras is the better option. Editing the speed on final cut pro made the footage very 'jumpy' and messed altered the frames and it wasn't flowing as smoothly as we would have liked it to. the slow motion mode however is far better as it looks just like one continual shot and it doesn't seem to effect the quality of the clip either.
