In this post i am going to be discussing all the potential risks which could occur while filming, i am going to outline the risks, how we are going to control them and who is going to have the full/shared responsibilities of this risk.
Risk assessments are used to ensure the safety of everyone involved with the filming process. This can be done by doing the following — identifying the risk, this is where you explain what the risks are. Then you identify who this risk may affect and why it might affect them and finally you evaluate the risk making sure that there are safety equipment or procedures followed to make sure that no member of the cast is at risk.
Here is the risk assessment for our short film.
Now that we have completed a risk assessment we can ensure the safety of the production crew and cast I am now going to create a shooting schedule so that we can plan when we are going to film and when we are all free incase we need to do some extra shooting.
